Tom's Bookshop is a warmly atmospheric DIY miniature model built from imported MDF board with full-colour printing. A sunlit open-plan bookshop with a glass skylight ceiling, shelves overflowing with books and curiosities, a grandfather clock, a globe, a gramophone, a round cafe table with stools, potted plants everywhere, framed illustrations on the walls, and soft warm lighting that makes every title look worth reading — 204 pieces of the best kind of independent bookshop.

Tom opened the shop the year he ran out of room for books at home, which is the best reason anyone has ever opened a bookshop. The glass ceiling was his idea — for the light, and for the plants, which arrived one by one and never left. The grandfather clock was already there when he moved in. The gramophone was his. The globe is for the books about places. The round table is for the readers who arrive meaning to browse and end up staying all afternoon.
